Out of place
Surrealism
You might think of surrealism as just another form of art but your wrong the surrealism ideas are about chaos, unconscious desires and the unconscious mind to find inspiration or political and artistic creativity ideas and to go with it.
For me surrealism is weird and wonderful. It is about putting crazy ideas together. It is dreamlike and often strange.

Tommy Inburg
Tommy Inberg is a photographer and is an visual artist, born in 1980 in Sweden. He works with digital image editing minimalistic and self reflecting sureal photo montages dealing with human nature and feeling and thoughts.
In this image I see a model head has been replaced with balloons. The photographer has done this to show that emotions can hold you back like this rock can. That your thoughts and creative ideas should be free to fly. The image is black and white and it symbolises that emotions can get to you. The image has been edited on Photoshop to make the image black and white and replace the head with balloons. I like how the model goes on a diagonal and it feels very dreamlike. Many of his work has darker edges. I may use this idea within my own work.
Anja Stiegler
Anja Stiegler is a german photographer who has developed over time personal interpretation of surrealist photographer she manages with shots to create incredible stories mysterious scenarios where time seems sparse and inconsistent.
In this image the model is trying to look for her face. The photographer has done this to symbolise that she has lost her identity. That we often stumble around feeling lost. This image has contrasting colour, this makes the image overpower other images. The lighting adds to the dream like affect . This image has been edited on Photoshop to remove the face of the model. The use of shadow around the edges of the photograph is interesting and is something I may use in the development of my work.
Robert Rickhoff
Rickhoff, a 27-year-old artist based in Hamburg, was working on an animated film when he was inspired to engage in some dark arts with digital manipulation programming. The result, entitled “Out Of Place,” is a photographic world full of off-kilter architecture that is certainly not safe for children.
In this image the door handle is a knife .The photographer has done this to indicate danger of slicing your hand. In this image the knife is in the centre to draw you attention. This image has been edited on Photoshop to change the door handle into a knife. The photographer has done this to show that the door handle is unusable because it has a knife as a door handle. This shows an object in the wrong place, meeting the theme of the project.
My mind map of ideas
Test Shoot
I will use an unbrella with holes in and Its going to rain stones. I am trying to take a birds eye view so you can see the stones and worm eye view to see the rock though the holes.
My worse image
This is my worst image because adam is in the image you can see hiltons hand and the exposure is not clear its to high. In future I will need a clear back ground and no people around while I am taking the shot.
My best image
Test shoot
This shoot was not very successful because the aim of it was to place the sweets in a pattern and then put a star in the middle because im doing surrelism. I wanted the object to be out of place.
I am going to take a shoot on someone getting squashed by a shoe you will have to stand straight with one hand in the air trying to hold back the shoe. When I finished the shoot I will edit a gigantic shoe on the hand trying to hold it up. And i am playing with the scale and the size so the model looks smaller.
In the exam I will take image of a shoe and apply it on miss hand and adjust it so it will not look obvious to prevent it you could blend around the shoe . For you second edit I will expand the shoe and make Miss Shelmerdine smaller.
Screen shot off my work
WORK COMPLETE IN THE FIRST 10 EXAM
Final edit
My plan
I will take photo of a place, or object and model and then edit the model smaller so I can use then put her/ him on different objects. This reminds of silankachu figures which I have seen in the past. I have worked in this style before but with plastic modes. I think combining these ideas with out of place would be effective.

RESEARCH on SLinkachu
The is a medium depth of field so we are able to see the car and the person in focus. So this shows when birds poo on your car screen and you have to clean it of and also the guy is disturbed because of the poo. The central focal point is on the car and the rule of third small depth of field comical story. These little figures remind me of what I am trying to do but with real people.

I have chosen Surrealism for my exam
I have studied Tommy Inburg and different Surrealist objects and facts at the start of out of place . I really like the Tommy Inburg work and the way he takes photos and I found the symbolic meaning of them interesting. I was drawn to the ideas and meaning behind the surrealist movement and how they are to represent the image. I use the color black and white as this colour easily blends in. I also wanted to link my work to my research. I have added a black shadow to the outside as I noticed this was a characteristic. I use Photoshop and Pic monkey to do this. Symbolic meaning of my images are you are small compared to the world.
